I only turn on my tv when I am really bored and I watch That 70's Show, The X-Files, or Nip/Tuck. Other than that, the damn box on my dresser is useless. When I get my own place, which should be pretty soon, we wont have cable, because I refuse to pay for commercials, and all the crap that is on tv.

I really enjoy a few small publications like Project Censored, they put out a quarterly publication. (free by email, donations are encouraged) They write about the most under reported news stories and there are no ads at all.
2006-10-24 [FireGypsy]: Yeah I dont read many magazines. Sometimes I will pick up Adam's mom's Star magazine and be humoured by its content, but other than that I never buy magazines. I only use the paper for its job section, and that isnt doing much for me at the moment.
